Shipping & Delivery Policy
We pride ourselves on reliable global logistics, servicing major commercial ports in over 40 countries across
the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions.
Shipping Incoterms
Standard export orders are processed and shipped under the following internationally recognized rules:
- FOB (Free On Board): Sourcing, inland logistics, and port custom clearing in India
handled by us. Freight risk transfers to buyer upon vessel loading.
- CFR (Cost and Freight): Ocean freight booked and prepaid by us to the designated port of
destination. Marine insurance is managed by the buyer.
- CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight): Ocean freight and marine transit insurance booked, paid,
and managed by us to destination port.
Delivery Schedules & Lead Times
Processing lead times depend on processing parameters, crop seasonality, container availability, and shipping
line schedules. Standard packing and container stuffing are completed within 15–21 business days from receipt
of operational payment tools (Advance Payment or Confirmed L/C).
Pre-Shipment Inspections
All agricultural consignments are inspected at dry ports (CFS) or sea terminals prior to departure. Buyers
can nominate international inspection agencies like SGS or Geo-Chem to audit
quality, moisture parameters, packaging integrity, and container weight parameters.
Export Documentation Packages
Each container is accompanied by a standard trade document set, including:
- Ocean Bill of Lading (B/L)
- Commercial Invoice & Detailed Packing List
- Certificate of Origin (CoO)
- Phytosanitary Certificate issued by the Government of India
- Fumigation & Pest Control Treatment Certificate
- SGS or Geo-Chem Inspection Certificate (as requested)
Refund & Cancellation Policy
As a bulk trade enterprise dealing in highly perishable and agricultural commodities, our procurement
contracts are governed by standard international trade procedures.
Irrevocable Order Placement
Upon signing a proforma invoice or signing an official contract, our processing factory allocates raw stocks
and initiates grading, sorting, and custom packaging. Consequently, once deposit payments are cleared or
Letter of Credit is activated, orders cannot be cancelled without full forfeit of deposit or cancellation fees
equivalent to processing overheads.
Transit & Cargo Claims
We guarantee that all cargo leaves Indian terminals conforming to contract specifications. If goods are
damaged in transit or arrive with visual quality deviations, the buyer must:
- File a formal claim in writing within 14 calendar days of port discharge.
- Submit photo/video logs along with an official survey report drafted by a NABL-certified independent
inspection body (such as SGS).
Claims Resolution Mechanisms
Valid claims verified by independent inspection reports will be resolved through:
- Credit notes applicable on subsequent purchasing schedules.
- Negotiated price adjustments/settlements.
- Replacement of affected stocks in subsequent shipping cycles.
No claims will be entertained for quality deviations caused by shipping delays, vessel route alterations, or
port warehousing negligence post-discharge.
Export Disclaimer
The materials, specifications, and data presented on this website are for general informational guidance
only. Parties engaging in commodity trade must rely on official contract parameters.
Commodity Market Volatility
Global spice, grain, and crop pricing is subject to rapid fluctuations based on crop sizes, weather events,
custom duty updates, and macroeconomic trends. Digital catalog prices are indicative and do not represent
binding offers until confirmed in writing via official quotes.
Specification Tolerances
All agricultural items are subject to natural variations. Specifications regarding oil contents, color hues,
sizes, and natural moisture parameters are subject to tolerances typical in agricultural trades. Contractual
specifications are finalized exclusively in written agreements between Jalpex International and the buyer.
Trade Compliance Responsibility
Importers are solely responsible for ensuring that imported commodities comply with the local food safety
standards, customs tariffs, pesticide limits, and import permit regimes of their destination countries.
Quality Policy
Jalpex International is dedicated to representing the finest heritage of Indian farming by implementing
strict quality control protocols across our entire processing chain.
Standards and Certifications
Our processing partners maintain advanced manufacturing facilities operating under recognized global quality
frameworks:
- FSSAI: Fully registered for domestic processing and export trade parameters.
- ISO 22000:2018 & HACCP: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point methodologies strictly
integrated in sorting, storage, and packaging lines.
- HALAL Compliant: Standard processes designed to ensure trade capability in Middle Eastern
and Southeast Asian markets.
Supply Chain Audits
We source raw crops directly from farmers and verified regional agricultural cooperatives (APMC). Each
collection lot is assessed for trace residues, grade uniformity, and primary quality factors prior to
collection and transport.
Laboratory Auditing Protocols
Our crop lots are subjected to NABL-accredited laboratory audits to monitor:
- Aflatoxin limits (meeting strict EU and US standards).
- Pesticide residues (ensuring compliance with import limits).
- Microbiological criteria (E. Coli, Salmonella, and mold levels).
- Volatile oil percentages in spices (to maintain fragrance and shelf-life).
Continuous Improvement
We continuously upgrade our warehousing systems, packaging barriers (vacuum packing, moisture-proof food
grade bags), and processing methods to prevent cross-contamination and guarantee fresh deliveries globally.
